KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC men's and women's track and field teams will close the regular season on May 7 when they head to Manhattan, Kansas to compete in the Ward Haylett Invitational. The meet will feature just three teams, the ‘Roos, the home squad K-State and KU.

Missouri-Kansas City swept the major awards as senior Antoine Rozner was named WAC Player of the Year, Francois Lagraulet was named WAC Freshman of the Year and J.W. VanDenBorn was named WAC Coach of the Year.

STANFORD, Calif.– UMKC men's track and field school record holder in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, junior Bryce Miller one-upped himself on Sunday, May 1, to set a new personal record in the event at one of the most prestigious track meets in the country, the Payton Jordan Invitational in Stanford, California. Miller's new personal record is now the fifth-fastest time in NCAA Division I this season.
